Race Pro: F3000 Launch

Next week marks the start of the first F3000 season here at 'The WLR'. With 12 drivers registered with a car and 7 drivers already signed up for the first race we are sure to be in for a cracking season.

"This is the first open-wheeled championship that 'The WLR' have hosted and it's sure to be a good one. To be able to drive these car's you have to be able to control the cars going into the corners which takes a lot of skill from these drivers. Something that will be key will be pit strategy. With the races being long we won't see drivers pit on the opening laps to get 'free air' as you will see drivers strategically plan when to make their pit stop so that they maintain a good level of grip on their tyres but yet keep ahead of their rivals." Adam Drane, Competition Organisor.

It's enevitable that some point during the season we will see a driver run out of fuel, blame his tyres, or even blame his pit crew but one thing is for sure we will see some cracking racing.

See you at Curitiba, Brazil.
